Camp Adahi is a resident camp offered to members that have completed third grade through eighth grade. It is held in July at our campgrounds in the Sierra National Forest, just north of Bass Lake, CA. There is no housing at Camp Adahi — just the shelter of the giant Sequoias! That’s what makes Camp Adahi the most unique experience for a child.
There is no explaining what a child will gain from attending Camp Adahi. The real learning comes from living in an outdoor setting, surrounded by new and old friends of all ages. It is an indescribable experience filled with silly and not so silly traditions and crazy summer camp fun. Until a parent has listened to their child’s excitement at the close of camp and the weeks following, they will never know what a gift is given by sending a child to Camp Adahi.
Staff at Camp Adahi is ALL volunteer. Staff is trained through the summer at training meetings. Senior staff members are Club Leaders, Parents, Board Members and Friends to Camp Fire. Junior staff are older members of Camp Fire in the Horizon level.
Camp Adahi 2024 is July 14-19
Young people want to shape the world.
Camp Fire provides the opportunity to find their spark, lift their voice, and discover who they are.
